Where We Serve
Southeast Asia
BEE World’s ministry in southeast Asia began in 1995. A team of facilitators launched the pattern for training church leaders by traveling to southeast Asia four times a year to lead BEE seminars. Seventeen BEE courses were eventually translated into the southeast Asian language.
The original four first-generation groups, a total of fifty pastors, completed the seventeen courses in 2003. Many of these original BEE graduates are some of the most influential church leaders in southeast Asia today.
Currently nine first-generation groups are being taught by BEE facilitators in southeast Asia. Thousands of second-generation students are also taught by current and former first-generation students. In 2007 we celebrated the graduation of the first second-generation group that completed all seventeen courses.
There continues to be a great need to train many more southeast-Asian church leaders and their wives, who will reproduce this training.
