So how do we define raising your own support? It’s engaging others creatively in kingdom work through prayer and financial partnership with your ministry.
For some, support raising is the primary obstacle in fulfilling a calling to full-time missions work. But it doesn’t need to be.
“My God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” –Philippians 4:19
Relationship-based support-raising involves rallying people who believe in you and your heart for ministry to partner with you in both prayer and finances, two vital elements of your ministry. It’s not just asking people for money. When done in a Scripture-based, relational way, raising support offers those who remain at home the opportunity to join with you in accomplishing kingdom work.
